What Is Into the Forge?
Into the Forge is a two-part formation experience:
Part One: A 2-day, hands-on knife-making experience at Shepherd’s Forge
Part Two: 8 guided group coaching sessions through A Forged Life
This is not a conference.
This is not a typical retreat.
This is a leadership lab—where work with your hands becomes work on your soul.
The Forge Experience
The Shepherd’s Forge Experience:
Over two days, you will:

Forge a knife from raw steel
-
Learn the fundamentals of blacksmithing and finishing
-
Experience the rhythms of heat, pressure, rest, and refinement
Every step in the forge mirrors the formation of a guide’s life: shaping, patience, attention, and faithfulness to the work.
You’ll leave with:

A finished knife you forged yourself that will last you a life

Space to breathe, reflect, and listen

Language for what is being shaped in you
The Formation Path (coaching follow up)
A Forged Life: Group Coaching Journey
Formation doesn’t end when the forge cools.
Following the workshop, you’ll participate in 8 group coaching sessions designed to help you integrate what was shaped during the experience.
These sessions will focus on:

Clarifying your calling

Attending to the formation of your soul

Naming the work that only you can do
-
Practicing leadership marked by faithfulness, not exhaustion
Sessions are:

Group-based

Guided and structured

Rooted in reflection, not performance
Note: You will also have access to Kevin via email, texts and calls for the duration of the process
